Combining the ideals of sportsmanship, community, and athleticism the Indiana Speed Professional Women's Football Team was formed in 2002.

Organized by a group of dedicated men and women, committed to creating an opportunity for young women to play the game of football, they quickly built on an idea that has been around since the 1960's.

From that vision emerged a group of players, from all walks of life and athletic abilities, who came forward to play simply "for the love of the game".

It is from this foundation, the team's coaches & players are taking their experiences as professional athletes. Sharing a positive message in the communities in which they live and work, by teaching children and young adults about what it takes to be successful - on and off the field.
